I will start saying everything was wonderful, the location was very close to station and restaurants. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful. A good idea would be to put a curtain in the bedroom because the lights of the cars are bright. Security is not necessary. We don’t lock the door we felt so secure. Supper was incredible!! Very nice but we would appreciate a little explanation in elaborating of type of fish i.e. what to eat first!! Thank you for everything!! ARIGATO!!

We were treated really well. We had snacks and hot towels brought to our room, our futon was set up and put away for us, they serve you dinner in your room if you request it and the bath was so relaxing at the end of the day. Our room had everything we needed, it was spacious and there was a fridge, a safe, a tv and a closet. Overall this place was excellent.

Very helpful staff and nice rooms. Only thing that is mentionable is the 12 o'clock curfew. I highly recommend this ryokan to anyone!

Perfect location. Authentic hotel and township. Loved walking the streets. People were very helpful and nice. Private dinner was fantastic. Onsens were beautiful and enjoyed the kimono. Monkey park was extraordinary. Staff were lovely, pleasant, accommodating and attentive. I will come again.

We enjoyed our stay at Kawaguchi-ko Station Inn very much. The tatami mat rooms were clean and came stocked with green tea and teapot and teacups. The staff was helpful and there was free Internet available. The ofuro (hot bath) was also very good. The location was also excellent, being very near the station. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much as the Station Inn had the feel of a home away from home.

I had such a wonderful stay at the Ryokan Shimaya. My room was excellent and the service that Mr & Mrs Yumoto provided was perfect. They are such a lovely couple. The Japanese breakfast that was available for an extra cost was one of the best meals I have had so far in Japan. I loved the monkeypark and the Roten-buro Tomi-no-yu and the lovely owners were always ready to drive you everywhere. Thanks for a beautiful memory!
