We had a great time in this hostel. It was a neat experience staying in a Japanese style accommodation. Was a great bonus having the owner speak english and super friendly. Only downside to this hostel is the one shower for 12 rooms. (12 rooms with 2 or more people in each room) Would stay again regardless..

We initially had some difficulty on finding Nakata B&B but as with most streets in Japan they don't have street signs and smaller streets don't appear on the map. Once we found it it was just the perfect location, close to the 5 storey pagoda and the main strip for shopping and places to eat. As it was off the main road it was lovely and quiet at night. Jun Nakata was an excellent and helpful host who kept us entertained in the evening with stories and songs of Tanuki san

It was an excellent experiences staying at Shibu Hotel on Dec. 25th, 2009. The staff was very hospitable, rooms were spic and span and very cozy. Given a chance, I would like to come back here again.

Mika and her family was wonderful and made our Kinosaki visit a relaxing and enjoyable dream away from big city travels in Japan. We highly recommend Kojinmari for the Japanese roykan experience and close proximity to the baths.

This has been the third place on our month stay in japan where we have called it our second home. We only had time to stay the one night but that one night we were treated with the utmost hospitality you could expect. The owners were true friends by the time we left. they drove us to the monkey park and also gave us a guided tour of what was of interest on the way. The room in traditional ryokan style was very comfortable and the onsen which was free to use downstairs was great. Many thanks !!!
